Mustangs Ride Second Half D to First Win of Young Season
In a game that saw multiple first-half lead changes and a Millbrook edge of just two-points at halftime, Millbrook used a stingy second-half defense and some timely scoring from multiple student-athletes to earn a decisive 18-point victory at home against Class A Brunswick. The Mustangs saw minutes from all thirteen roster eligible players and scoring from seven different players tonight.
This win moves Millbrook to a 1-2 record overall and gives the Mustangs momentum entering a two-game weekend. Millbrook will be on the road at Pomfret at 4:45 pm on Saturday 12/14. They will then follow that up with a tilt against Tabor Academy at 5:30 pm in the New England Recruiting Report Scholar Roundball Classic at Babson College.
