The Millbrook basketball team celebrated their 6th formers on the way to a 48-32 home win vs. Kingswood Oxford on Friday. 6th formers Adelaide Armah, Alyssa McLeod, Lizzie Chamberlin, Daniela Muscari, and Helene Apollon started the game and set the tone of competition that would be maintained by both teams for 32 minutes. After giving up some early 3 pointers due to KO’s well coached ball movement-oriented offense, the Mustangs were able to settle in and play some of their best defense of the season. Millbrook was able to use this defense to spark some opportunistic transition opportunities and execute their actions in the half court. Following the game the 6th formers were honored with a meal in the Firestone room. Millbrook looks forward to another opportunity to get better vs. Kent on Saturday.
