Millbrook School vs. Groton School

The Mustangs would face the Groton Zebras in their fourth and final consolation game of the Dexter Southfield Holiday Tournament. While the Zebras capitalized once, the Mustangs would score two goals, earning them a 2-1 lead over the Zebras heading into the third period. Within the first two minutes of the final period, the Zebras tied the score at two. Minutes later, the Mustangs would capitalize on the power play, taking the lead once again. The Zebras would pull their goalie with over a minute left, and have a number of scoring opportunities but came up unsuccessful. Catherine Champagne would play an excellent game between the pipes for the Mustangs, earning her first Millbrook win. Carolyn Whitney '19 would score two goals and earn an assist, tallying a total of three points for the game. The Mustangs will head into the new year at .500 with four wins and four losses. They will face the Tilton School Rams in their first game of 2019.
