Spirited Defensive Effort Propels Mustangs to Victory
Millbrook used their aggressive defense and 39 deflections to earn a 34-25 win over Miss Hall’s School. Millbrook had excellent contributions from players who saw court time and from those who supported their teammates enthusiastically from the bench. The Mustangs contained Miss Hall’s perimeter attack and closed out consistently on shots. Millbrook held Miss Halls to 22 % shooting and assisted on 14 of 15 made field goals.

- Lizzie Chamberlin ‘19 contributed an exceptional compete level in addition to 9 points and 6 deflections
- Khya Jenkins ’21 scored 8 points and hauled in 13 rebounds off the bench
- Helene Apollon ’19 brought down 7 second half rebounds and had 7 deflections
