Millbrook Defeats The Gunnery in Conference Bowl Game

Millbrook defeated The Gunnery in their last game of the season on Saturday, November 10th, making their record 4-2 and earning them a third-place finish in the conference.

Quarterback Kevin Justice '19 started-off the scoring on a 30-yard touchdown run, followed by a 2-point conversion by Mike Nassif '20. Justice went on to score another touchdown on an 18-yard run, and Nassif also scored on a 20-yard touchdown reception. 

The Gunnery responded with two quick touchdowns, one on a pass interception in the second quarter, but Millbrook was still in the lead at halftime with a score of 20-14. The Mustangs came out with determination to win in the second half, and Nassif scored another touchdown on a 50-yard pass reception followed by a 2-point conversion. Sam Smith '21 scored on an 11-yard sweep run, and he followed up with a 2-point conversion as well. The Gunnery scored one last touchdown as the clock expired to end the game; Millbrook took the victory with a final score of 50-20.
