Izzy Finemore '21 Captures USEF CCI1*-JR/YR Eventing National Championship
Izzy Finemore ’21 and her horse Rutherglen captured the USEF CCI1*-JR/YR Eventing National Championship title this past weekend at the Virginia Horse Trials.
With her cross-country score of 33.20, Finemore ’21 was the highest-placed U.S. athlete between the ages of 14 and 21, earning her the championship title in her very first one-star event.
"The Millbrook area is known as horse country, so there are many places to ride at for horse shows and for training," says Finemore '21, who keeps her horses at Kildare Stables and rides with Booli Selmayr of Fox Run Farm and Koryn Doolittle.
