Good Comeback & Questionable Call at the End
There was a good effort from all, especially toward the end of the match. What we need is to sustain that level of effort and sense of urgency over the course of the entire game.
Good first half with strong goalkeeping from Will Ricker. We fell apart for a bit to go down 2-0 in the second, but rallied with 12 minutes to go after super-sub August Plagemann took to the field to score two from long range within a couple of minutes from each other. Unfortunately we couldn't hold off the Kent attack who scored the go ahead goal with 2 minutes left. With about 20 seconds left, Heathcliff Rellie was fouled inside the box at the other end, but rather than giving us the kick from the spot, the referee moved the kick to outside the box. We weren't able to convert, but it made for an interesting ending to the game.
