Millbrook JV girls game 2 versus IMS

The JV girl Mustangs went head to head against IMS for the second time this season.  The girls played a much improved game from our first encounter this season with IMS, keeping their opposition scoreless through the first half.  In the second half, the girls gave up 3 difficult goals.  The girls played harder than they have all season but two players of particular note today were Noor Rahman and Lexi Weirdsma.  Noor created several shots on goal for herself and teammates - she came inches from scoring herself.  She also took a nasty fall but got right back up and continued to play.  Lexi had a particularly solid game in goal.  Towards the end of the game, she took a ball to the throat but after a minute to catch her breath, she got right back in goal and finished the game.
