Students Reflect on MillbrookEngage Summer Internship Experiences

MillbrookEngage is our newest opportunity for students to live by the school’s motto - Non Sibi Sed Cunctis - by participating in service.

The paid internship program allows selected students to have the opportunity to give back by way of working for an approved not-for-profit (NFP) organization. It was launched through the generosity of alumnus Herb Shultz ’63 and has grown both in student participation and the scope of internship opportunities through the support of parents, alumni, and friends.

This past summer, students interned at the Boys & Girls Club of Nantucket, Cary Institute for Environmental Research, Poughkeepsie Farm Project, Saint Peter’s University Hospital, and Millbrook’s very own Trevor Zoo.

Shultz '63 joined us last week to speak to students about the program, as well as to listen to students share their summer internship experiences in last Thursday's Chapel Talk. Thank you to Shultz '63 for seeding this awesome program and congratulations to our students on the completion of their meaningful summer work!
