Millbrook loses to talented Berkshire team

Our third home race in eight days resulted in some heavy legs in Wednesday's race. The team treated it like a training run.  A strong Berkshire pack pushed the pace, but Dorothy Walker interrupted the group by overtaking their fifth runner in the second mile. She was charging hard on their fourth runner as they crossed the finish line.  Lillie Marcos and Elizabeth Finch finished 7th and 9th respectively. Lilla Powers, Mattie Lewis, Raphaella Pope, and Pam Nguyen rounded out the field for Millbrook. The team will take a break from racing this weekend and gear up for Hotchkiss next Saturday.  We wish Dorothy Walker well in her half-marathon this weekend!
