Strong Start to the Season for Boys Varsity Soccer

Boys varsity soccer launched their season Saturday afternoon with a convincing win (6-1) over St. Luke’s on the turf in New Canaan.

The Mustangs consistently dominated play, registering 17 shots and 6 goals. "Every member of the squad saw the field in a balanced and impressive team effort," said Head Boys Varsity Soccer Coach John Siegenthaler.

The back four - Peter Conte '19, Dexter Day '19, Sean Colman '19,  and Hugo Darmon '19 - were impenetrable. "The high-octane forward line also made the most of their opportunities," said Coach Siegenthaler, who also noted that Colman '19 earned the coaches’ game card for his outstanding performance on the field.

A strong start to the season for the team who will go on to play against Forman at home on Tuesday, September 18th at 4:30 p.m.
