Bull's Bridge Beats Mustangs

Congratulations to Brunswick for winning the title at the Western New England Prep Invitational.  With two of the top five scores, including the Medalist, the Bruins were the class of the field.  Millbrook began the day short one golfer.  Sam Rosenbaum, Jake Gagnon, Joe Grossman, Elise Almgren, and Sarah Hoover represented Millbrook and faced a daunting task of playing 18 holes on the hilly Fazio layout.  Sam Rosenbaum had his best showing of his career and posted a five over par, 77.  Jake Gagnon was not only battling the course, but also wicked allergies and fought to card a 98.  Joe Grossman had one of his better 18 hole performances and posted 89.  Elise Almgren scored well on a number of holes, but was bit by the inconsistent bug and put up a 115.  Sarah Hoover finished the day with 129.  It was a great day for golf and a terrific event hosted by South Kent and Kent Schools.  Many thanks to them and the staff at Bull's Bridge.  The Mustangs look to come back early next week when they take on Trinity-Pawling.
