Koenigsberger Hall Dedication Ceremony

"Dream big, plan carefully, be grateful. Those are the lessons I have learned from the Koenigsberger family, and from Robert especially," said Headmaster Casertano on Saturday, May 5th, at the dedication ceremony for Koenigsberger Hall (formally known as West Hall).

"This space—the Class of 2016 Amphitheater and what was formally known as West Hall—is a result of all of that. It's a result of dreaming big, having a plan, and being grateful. It's a result of the Koenigsberger's desire to see this school be the best it can possibly be, and today we're honoring that extraordinary commitment. Their energy and support have literally transformed our school," said Headmaster Casertano.

The Koenigsberger Challenge, a 4-1 match challenge, concluded in December of 2017, raising $20 million for the school's endowment. $4 million came as a donation from the Koenigsberger family after the school had raised $16 million in cash and pledges. An undeniable success, the challenge also helped the school surge well past our initial campaign goal of $65 million to just over $80 million.

We could not be more grateful, and we extend our deepest appreciations to the Koenigsberger family, to all of our trustees, who have led this campaign from start to finish, and to all who have contributed to a tremendous momentum that is making Millbrook ever better.
