JV Season Kicks Off Against Hotchkiss
The girls were excited for their first game, and though we were down a few players because of the flu, we came into the game with great energy!
The first period didn't go our way, but every player worked hard and learned something from every shift she played. Gabby Kirikian (Our Mustang of the Week!) made several outstanding saves and kept Millbrook in the game.
By the third period, we were down by a big margin, but that didn't stop the girls from chasing down every puck and playing with real heart. Biz Jamieson netted her first goal of the season with 11 minutes left in the game, putting Millbrook on the scoreboard. It was an exciting first match and taught us a lot as we move into our next match against Taft!
