Mustangs notch first win of the season

After a long drive, we took on a game squad from Westminster today.  Our veteran players led the way with solid straight game wins by Olivia, Ava, Lizzie and Ena at 1-4 respectively.  Maggie ran into a bit of trouble in the third game, but prevailed in 4 by finding her power and depth.  Emily Le impressed at #6, also earning the straight game win.  The match of the day was at #7 where Zoe played a back and forth affair before falling in the fifth game 11-8.  At exhibition, Cici Wang faced a big serve and battled hard, but lost.

We will welcome Rye on Saturday at home.
