Millbrook Receptions Build Interest and Momentum

Every fall current Millbrook families invite prospective students into their homes to share more of what makes Millbrook, Millbrook.  Current students join members of the admissions team to share their experiences and answer questions about what life at Millbrook is like, keeping each event truly student-centered. 

 

Recent receptions were held in Greenwich, New Canaan, North Salem, Millbrook and Manhattan.  These events were very well attended, and in some cases the audience of prospective students was nearly double that of years past.  Director of Admission Meghan Grover noted, “We are really happy with the turnout at our receptions so far this year. It shows how deeply our prospective students are invested in finding the right high school and how much excitement there is about Millbrook."  

 

The Manhattan reception, in particular, was hugely successful and included a vocal performance by Millbrook's student a capella group, Millbrook Singers.  Hosted by Christina Lang P’15 at the Cosmopolitan Club, 50 prospective families—double the size of last year—indicated a strong interest in Millbrook's programs and people.  

 

Interest and momentum continue to grow around Millbrook, and receptions have been scheduled in the coming months for Chicago, Aspen, and Denver.  Events in these regions, plus San Francisco and Washington, D.C., will close out what has been Millbrook's busiest and strongest admissions season yet.
