Girls Varsity Soccer Finishes Season as No. 2 Team in Western New England

Girls varsity soccer had a fantastic season, finishing with an overall record of 8-4-3,which places them second in WWNEPSSA Class C league. Six of their eight wins were shutouts, keeping Berkshire, Gunnery, Kent, King School, Cheshire Academy, and Miss Hall’s from getting onto the scoreboard. While the Mustang defense was outstanding in keeping opposing teams off the scoreboard, they were also a consistent offensive force, racking up over 39 goal points this season.

Two Mustangs were also chosen from the team to participate in the WWNEPSSA All-Star Game this year: Suwaibatu Mohammed '19 and Adelaide Armah '19. Because of their skill, they were invited to play in the Class A/B game.

"The girls game together and showed both determination to win and exemplary character throughout the entire season," said Head Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Gordie MacKenzie.

We are thrilled for their success and look forward to cheering them on next year! Visit our online photo gallery for images from the season.
