Win on the Road

A great afternoon on the road today for Millbrook, with a 3-1 win over St. Luke's. Millbrook came out storming, scoring off an offensive penalty corner in the first two minutes. The game would remain 1-0 until the first minute of the second half, where again, Millbrook scored off a penalty corner. While St. Luke's definitely had speed up the sidelines, Millbrook stepped hard to intercept passes, played solid and clean defense, and kept a consistent offensive pressure on. St. Luke's scored late in the second half to keep things interesting, but forwards Caroline Hopkins '21 scored off a nice pass from Ellie Muckstadt '18 with five minutes left in the game.
