Millbrook Falls to Forman in Heartbreaker
The Mustangs lost on a last second throw to the endzone against Forman Saturday. They move to 2-2 on the season.
Carter Begel '18 and the rest of the Millbrook offense kept the Mustangs in the game, scoring on 4 passes and 1 run. Begel threw to Jake Talhami '18 for one TD, Jack Feltheimer '20 for 3, and ran one in himself.
The defense struggled against Forman's powerful ground and pound offense, however, and gave up a series of touchdowns and kick returns that forced the Millbrook offense to continually answer. Defensive highlights included forced fumbles by Carter Begel and Jack Feltheimer.
Despite a valiant effort from all of the Millbrook squad, some things just didn't shake out the way they wanted. With 6 seconds left in the game, Millbrook was up 34 to 38 but failed to stop a last second heave from the Forman backfield to a tight end near the endzone.
