Reduced Millbrook squad falls to Hotchkiss and CHS; posts some season PRs
It was a spectacular running day for the girls and boys races at Hotchkiss School Saturday. Ella Horn '18 led Millbrook's girls with a 10th place finish in 24:02.
Millbrook's girls fought hard on Saturday and clocked some excellent individual performances. Finishing #2 for Millbrook was Anna Wilson '21 in 24:09; Wilson showed amazing speed in the last 200 m and was just leaned out by the Hotchkiss runner behind Horn, to finish 12th overall. Co-captain Kerry Carr '18, nursing painful shin splints, was next in 17th place, followed by Raphaella Pope '19 in 24th, and Cindy He '18 in 30th. The girls look forward to a rest over the long weekend, and they plan to be back in racing form on Kent's challenging course at Macedonia State Park next Saturday.
