A strong effort against Canterbury

JVFH played excellently against Canterbury, and energy was high right from the start. Avery Garhart did a stellar job as goalie, and the game was 0-0 at half time. Izzy Finemore and Cate Sinclair teamed up for some strong offense, and Rachel Wang scored her first goal of the season to put a point on the board for Millbrook. Canterbury's huge team size came into play towards the end of the game, and they were able to score three goals in quick succession when our ladies were getting tired. Regardless of the loss overall, the team should be proud: they played really well, communicated with each other, maintained a great attitude, and are showing significant improvement in their skills every game.
