Jamboree Sunday

The boys’ varsity team traveled to Loomis Chaffee School early Sunday morning, playing St. Mark’s School in the Northeast Soccer Jamboree. We got off to a strong start and played superb soccer for most of the first half. Bouda netted three goals, assisted on two of these by Darmon. St. Mark’s kept pace, scoring two of their own. Several outstanding saves by Tuke kept the Lions at bay. The second half saw St. Mark’s assert themselves more vigorously. Their captain, Matt Leigh, overpowered our defensive crew, scoring three unanswered goals and putting the game out of our reach. Rundquist and Tardio were our defensive stand-outs today. Seaver played well in both the midfield and on the back line.
