Millbrook wins again!

In a best of 5 thriller, Millbrook edged out Hotchkiss 3-1. The first game was won by the visiting Bearcats 25-27. In stunning fashion, the Mustangs came back from a 9-point defecit (16-7) in the second game, thanks to some solid serving from Simone Yañez and Kate Smith, who each had runs of 6 plus serves. The Mustangs came back to win the second game 25-23. In the third game, Millbrook was serving well, receiving serve well, and behind a few big kills from India Patterson and Sarah Hoover won comfortably 25-18. The fourth game of the match was arguably the best game played in the long, storied history of Millbrook volleyball. There were many long points that required both teams to show off their defensive prowess. Setters got all hitters involved in the offense and Millbrook looked like a well-oiled machine. Millbrook cruised to an easy 25-12 victory in the fourth and final game of the match.
