Millbrook Boys Varsity Lacrosse Wins NEPSAC Division II Championship

Millbrook's boys varsity lacrosse team defeated Albany Academy on Wednesday, May 24th. It was a competitive game with a final score of 9-8, resulting in the Mustangs earning the NEPSAC Division II Champion title.

The game was won when Peter Rayhill '17 fed the ball to Adam Lucas '17, who scored with 5 seconds left in the game. Nick Brode '18 was also a force on the field, finishing with a game-high of four goals. Stout defense was led by Alex Sheehy '17 and Kevin Drevitch '18.

“I am extremely proud of the way the team handled adversity at the end of the game. We had seen this script before - giving up a lead late in the game. The boys could have easily given up, but they showed true grit and resiliency and ended the season in a memorable fashion,” said Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michael Williams.

Their determination resulted in their win, and we could not be more proud of our Mustangs for their outstanding season and championship title.
