Softball Team Plays for New England Championship!!
With a decisive 21-0 win against Forman in the semi-finals of the WNEPSGSBA tournament yesterday, Millbrook's varsity softball team plays today on Champions Field at Millbrook in hopes of once again becoming New England Champions!
Yesterday's game was a full team effort, as every Millbrook batter scored at least one run. The Mustangs were heads up on defense and on the bases as well. Pitcher Riley Croghan '18 held Forman to two hits on the day and went 4-for-6 at the plate with a home run, a double, and 4 RBI. Co-captain Kat Mackey '17 had 4 of her own, including a 3-RBI double. Co-captain Maya Holmes '17 and Aria Bowden '18 each knocked home two as well.
