Zihan Chen ‘18 is our Zooie of the Week for his great work caring for the animals in the Jono and Jane Meigs Education Center, which include leopard geckos, an anole, children’s python, ball python, crested gecko, and sugar gliders. His attention to detail and continuous effort to improve has made him a valuable member of our Zooie team.
As a V former, Zihan chose the Trevor Zoo as his community service. “I have worked at the zoo for three years now, and I love how I get towork with so many different animals each year. It is an experience that is truly unique to Millbrook,” he says. “This year, I have really enjoyed working with the geckos. They are funny animals because of their agility. . . they can be fast movers!” says Zihan.
When he is not at the Trevor Zoo, you can find Zihan in the Holbrook Arts Center singing with Millbrook Voices, playing with instrumental ensemble, or preparing to perform in a play or Arts Night. Zihan’s enthusiasm extends beyond the Trevor Zoo, and we are grateful for his consistent efforts and genuine love of animals.
