Transportation Information

Airport Transportation
The Dean of Students Office is happy to assist and coordinate with a local livery service for those families that need transportation for their student to and from airports for school breaks andweekends.

Please contact Maria Shanks in the Dean of Students Office at mshanks@millbrook.org or 845-677-6753 and provide your student’s itinerary including name, airport, travel date/times, airline and flight numbers. This must be done at least three days in advance so that she can coordinate with Anna’s Airport and Limousine Service, a professional, insured, and reliable livery service. We will, when possible, group students traveling to the same airports together and share the cost equally between all the passengers. The cost of each trip varies depending on airport, time of day, type of vehicle, andnumber of passengers. Taxes, tolls, and tips are included in the cost and will be billed directly to your student’s “My Millbrook Spending” account. (The school does not charge a fee for coordinating this.) Please note: While there is a cost savings if we are able to group students traveling to/from the airport together, there will also be times when your student has to wait either before or after their own scheduled flight to accommodate others traveling on the sameride.

There are numerous airports in the tri-state area.  The most frequently used are John F. Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), and Westchester (HPN). It you choose these airports, it increases the possibility that your student will be able to be grouped with other students. Please schedule flights well after your student’s last school commitment or dismissal time to allow for travel, traffic, weather, and security check in at airports (at least 4-5 hours for JFK). Please refer to the calendar for school vacations and dismissal times before purchasingtickets.

We are aware of a number of families who currently have personal accounts with Anna’s Airport and Limousine Service (www.annaslimo.com), and, if you prefer, you are welcome to make your own arrangements and payment directly with them or any other livery service you select.
