College athletic conferences are releasing their regular season honors for winter athletics, and Millbrook alumni have received multiple prestigious accolades for their outstanding athletic skill and spirit throughout the season.
Cyd Cipolla is a scholar in feminist theory whose research and teaching interests include medical and legal history of sexuality, law and society, and the intersection of biological, behavioral, and computational science. She received her BA from Yale and her PhD from Emory University, where she was one of the inaugural Neuroethics Fellows at the Emory Center for Ethics and received a Mellon/ACLS Fellowship to complete her dissertation in 2013.
Her writing has appeared in the Journal of Medical Humanities and the Journal of the History of the Behavioral Sciences. Cyd previously served as the financial aid coordinator and special projects officer at the William S. Richardson School of Law in Honolulu, Hawai’i.
Currently, she is a class adviser and associate faculty member at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and a visiting fellow at the Dewitt Wallace Institute of the History of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College. She lives in Woodside, Queens with her partner, his six keyboards, their four computers, and a cabinet full of tiny robots in constant need of repair.
