Winning Week for the Mustangs
It has been a winning week for the Mustangs, with boys varsity basketball, girls varsity hockey, and boys varsity squash all securing victories.
In yet another game that saw at least three Mustangs score in double figures, Millbrook's boys basketball team used a 14-4 run down in the final four minutes to win their home opener 61-49 against Class A opponent, Hotchkiss, on Tuesday afternoon. They went on to defeat The Master's School 66-51, making their overall record 7-3.
Boys varsity squash shut out Brunswick (7-0), and girls varsity hockey earned a 1-0 victory over Canterbury in an exciting game. "The Mustangs played hard consistently throughout all three periods," said Head Girls Varsity Hockey Coach Erica Shapey. "We kept Canterbury away from the net and earned the shutout and another big NEPSAC Division 2 win."
