Junior Breast Cancer Awareness Group and Boys Varsity Hockey Team Raise Over $3000
Millbrook's Junior Breast Cancer Awareness student group (JBCA) and boys varsity hockey team combined their efforts this past weekend for a successful "Pink the Rink" fundraiser.
Their efforts raised over $3000.00 for breast cancer awareness through the selling of pink Millbrook spirit attire.
The hockey team played a competitive match against Hotchkiss with a sea of pink spectators cheering them on.
"It is always great to get the entire campus involved in our efforts to raise cancer awareness and money towards cancer research," said Heidi Reiss '16.
Millbrook's JBCA group is comprised of 25 members who brainstorm and organize multiple fundraising events throughout the academic year.
